Deinfa Okoro
Cincinnati, United States
Deinfa, an Ohio-based singer/songwriter, has honed her musical artistry with the help of various courses over the past several years. Her soft yet powerful voice evokes a sense of mystery among audiences.
Born in Nigeria, Deinfa began her musical journey at the early age of two, discovering her love for singing and music during family gatherings where she often took the lead in chants.
By age 10, Deinfa delved into songwriting with school friends, drawing inspiration from her inner sonic landscape as well as musical icons like Taylor Swift. Her compositions reflect personal struggles, allowing her to convey her innermost self to the world authentically.
Inspired by her desire for equanimity, Deinfa’s art and lyricism purposefully explore the breadth of human experience, encompassing themes of romance, joy, mental health, social justice, and personal growth.
Deinfa believes conscious awareness is the key to total healing and integration. In this context, her musical artistry is a doorway to the transcendent that is, always, an ever-present reality.
Beyond music, Deinfa enjoys cooking, creative writing, and grounding herself in nature’s flow.
