Drillz The Rapper is an urban artist and producer who dedicates his life to inspiring others through his music, on a mission to spread love and positivity.
In 2018, Drillz began experimenting with his musical talents and debuted his first song that same year. Inspired to explore the industry further, he studied rap, singing, and producing while pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Development at Makerere University Jinja Campus. Since first tapping into the industry, Drillz the Rapper found his musical niche in combining writing with rap production to fuse various music genres like hip-hop and dancehall. As of 2022, Drillz has independently released a couple of singles and had various collaborations with other artists.
A life-long advocate for mental health, Drillz launched an Instagram #BeKind campaign where he spread awareness about love and kindness. In addition to his musical and advocacy endeavours, Drillz is the founder of VIIVID House, a virtual artistic exchange where artists can collaborate and share their art.
Drillz stands as a testament to the transformative power of music, seamlessly blending artistic talents with his commitment to addressing the complexities of the human experience.

"It gave me a chance to view things differently. I got to learn about my history after we were given assignments, and it was enlightening. The way I write my music also changed as it became more socially conscience, and the fact that we were given equipment during the fellowship made it easier to work on my art. I got to know new, amazing people as well."
