Meet The Fellows
Victoria Ibek
Charlotte, United States
Victoria Ibek is a USA-based artist and storyteller who combines electronic beats with soulful pop ballads. She began creating music at the age of eleven through experimentation with apps and performing at school. Victoria’s storytelling skills use lighthearted imagery to connect with her audience.
By creating songs about her hopes and experiences, Victoria creates a sense of euphoria and nostalgia, closing the gap between herself and all who engage with her art. She has gathered international support and has been featured on apps such as BandLab and podcasts like Phat Talk Radio. Aside from her music, Victoria focuses on school, family, modeling and work. With roots in Nigeria, Victoria prides herself in her focus on education, faith and hard work.
A belief in the importance of versatility drove Victoria to major in biology at UNCC and work as a part-time certified nursing assistant. Victoria believes that doing a little bit of everything ensures that there will always be something interesting and new to partake in. The twenty-one-year-old is excited to take on the world and focus her passion for music, people and art on something big.

"Over the course of the Fellowship, I learned so many amazing things. The most important one to me was collaboration. I learned to work with others and create new ideas as a group. I learned to lean on the understanding of strangers in order to form longstanding relationships. I am not usually good with talking and sharing my goals or wins with other people, but it felt amazing to have people to celebrate with."
