Meet The Fellows

David Ogundeji

Ayobo, Nigeria

Since his earliest memories, David Ogundeji has harboured a deep desire to be recognized for his musical talent. Born in Lagos, Nigeria, David is a native of the Yoruba tribe and strives to create music that resonates on an international level. His journey to performing arts began in childhood as David where he uncovered his love for singing.

When David began writing songs at the age of eleven, he gravitated toward rhythm and blues. As his music developed, he drew inspiration from Christianity, wanting to remind his audiences of the abundant love held inside each person to give and receive. Following the loss of a loved one, David gained a profound appreciation of the fragility of life. This experience inspired him to pursue a medical career alongside his passion for entertainment, seeing a natural synergy between the healing arts and music. Currently studying nursing at the University of Ilorin in Nigeria, David is also honing his vocal skills. With unwavering dedication, he is confident that his passion, determination, and hard work will shape him into the artist he aspires to become.
